The refrigerator casing consists of an inner housing and solid outer cover layers, between which hard plastics foam is filled. It has drawers, mounted on withdrawal rails, whose stationary parts are secured to side walls of the inner housing backed up by stiffening rails. The stationary parts of the withdrawal guide rails are secured on vertical shanks of an enclosed stiffening frame, surrounding the plastics inner housing and embedded in the foam. Pref. The frame is supported on the bottom of the inner housing by a carrier, also embedded in the foam. The carrier rests on the feet, or on the lower edge of the side walls of the refrigerator. The inner housing may be fitted with depressions, located on its side walls and protruding outwards, these depressions housing the withdrawal guide rails.
