NEW MATERIAL:Titled derivatives of formula I (A is hydroxyl, amino; R1 is halogen, nitro; R2 is H or the same atom or group as in R1) and their salts. EXAMPLE:Ethyl 5-chloro-2-hydroxyoxanilate. USE:Immunoaccelerator, carcinostatic, antirheumatic, remedy for chronic hepatitis: they have activity of immunity acceleration, antitumorigenic effect and of strongly increasing delayed type allergy by delayed type skin reaction. They are effective for prevention and propylactis against viral attack caused by reduction in immunity. PREPARATION:The reaction of an aminophenol of formula II with oxalyl halide of formula III (X is halogen) is conducted in an appropriate solvent such as benzene in the presence of a base such as pyridine at room temperature or under cooling to produce the compound of formula I. |
