The compsn. contains a dessert base powder and a food material having a different texture from the dessert. and having a coating which makes it non-absorptive of moisture. The added material is e.g. expanded or extruded cereal esp. rice, wheat or corn, or expanded nuts, dried fruit etc. The coating is pref. of chocolate, high fat toffee mixt. or confectioners varnish etc. Material of contrasting, esp. crisp, texture, which will not become soggy during standing after prepn. can be included in the dessert. |
