<p>The risk of damage to the pressure sensing element of pushbuttons due to excessive force is eliminated, as the pressure tp the element is transmitted indirectly via a multiple leaf spring. The rim of the rigid, dome shaped moving top (2,12) of the pushbutton rests on a multiple leaf spring (13) which, in turn, rests in a recess (15) of the case of the pushbutton assembly. Space (18) allows for deformation due to excessive pressure on the button (2). A lateral support (10,11,19) prevents excessive flexing of the element (1).</p> |
