PURPOSE:To prevent traffic accident resulting in injury or death likely at the time of a large vehicle's turning to the left by installing an audio alarming device whose volume can be varied at the driver's seat and which is interlocked with the turn signaling device. CONSTITUTION:A variable resistor 13 installed at the driver's seat in operated to actuate a contactless buzzer 15 installed at the left side outside the car and, interlocked with the hazard lamp 14, under the condition that the volume is adjusted in accordance with the situation outside the car. It is used to warn that the car is going to turn to the left. When a hazard switch for stopping 6 is operated to allow hazard lamps 14, 7 to twinkle, the contactless buzzer 15 will go off automatically by the action of a diode 10. This buzzer 15 goes off even when the left turn signal lamp (hazard lamp) 14 is twinkling, if the car door is opened, by the action of a door linked switch 8 and a diode 11. Because of no risk of injuring any human body nor problem about visibility, this is more favorable than a one of optical type or mechanical type. |
