<p>Protection from noise or dust is provided for an opening in the form of a gap running horizontally or at an angle. There is a component, extending transversely to it, able to travel lengthways, passing through it. Sealing (1) consists of a piece of flexible material, attached to the top of the gap, and hanging down freely to the bottom end. Where the component (13) passes through the gap, it raises the sealing unit, in both directions of movement, by overlapping and gripping below the material bottom edge.
