Fluidised bed steam generator system - dries brown coal using combustion gases leaving generator, fed to bed from below

The steam generator operating system utilises fluidised-bed firing, with combustion air and finely divided brown coal being fed in from underneath. The brown coal is dried by the combustion gases leaving the steam generator, with the gases cooled to their maximum permissible final temperature in the process. The brown coal is also used to clean the gases, at least partly, while the current of brown coal and gases can be passed through a pulverisation stage. The cooled gases can then be separated from the pulverised brown coal and directed into a chimney, the coal being mixed with combustion air and delivered to the furnace fluidised bed.
