Typewriter paper intake mechanism - has platen using belt running around rollers and with guide troughs

The paper intake mechanism is for a printing machine, particularly a typewriter etc. with a printing head working on the ink mosaic principle. The head is passed along the lines on the paper, which is held by pressure members and a guide trough against a platen. The platen (3,4) is at right angles to the typing position, and comprises a transport belt (4) running round rollers (3), each with a guide trough (5). A paper pressure member (7) is fixed parallel to the belt and pivots clear to allow insertion of the paper. The inlet portion (10,11) forms a supporting holder for the paper.
