TAP POSITION DETECTOR CIRCUIT FOR TAP CHANGE TYPE SPEED SHIFTING MOTOR

PURPOSE:To obtain the tap position detector circuit for a tap change speed shifting motor having high reliability by utilizing a part of load current flowing through the respective taps of the motor as the drive of a relay. CONSTITUTION:The tap position detector circuits 3a-3c are provided between the taps 1a-1c of the tap change speed shifting motor 1 and the contacts 2a-2c of a change-over switch 2. The circuits 3a-3c full-wave rectify the load current of the motor with a full-wave rectifying circuit, and apply the rectified current to diodes 5e-5g, and the voltage generated across the diodes 5e-5g is applied to the driving coil 7a of the relay 7. Thus, the reliability of the tap position detector circuit for the tap change speed shifting motor is improved.
