The transformer has a secondary winding, deposited on an insulating coil, in which an insulating edge is left free on both sides. For contacting of the conductive layer, a contact film is formed between the layer and at least one outer lead. The film surface is considerably larger than that of the lead resting on the same. The specific resistance of the film is greater than that of the lead which is formed from a copper wire (30) coated with a soldering lacquer (28). The latter pref. has a break down strength of 5 to 15 kV. The ends of the copper wire may be tin-plated. In this manner a transformer for t.v. set application has good insulating properties combined with small size, without a tendency for uncontrollable discharges via the conductive film.
