<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a sufficiently high screening effect by embedding the metal fibers comprising an austenitic ferric alloy in which the austenite is converted into martensite for at least 75 vol.%, in a polymer of a strand as bundles. CONSTITUTION: The electrically conductive fiber to be included in a non- conductive or weak conductive material, includes a hardened material prepared from an austenite ferric alloy in a state that the austenite is converted into martensite for at least 75 vol.%. To almost constantly keep the flexural rigidity of the fiber, a section of this fiber is preferably uniform throughout the total length thereof, and round (circular) as much as possible. A strand includes 500-35000 pieces of fibers as bundles. By using at least one sub-bundle of fibers with gear-shaped pleat in the strand, a concentration of the fibers in the strand and (composite) particles can be controlled. An amount of a resin in the strand should be controlled between 20-80 vol.%.</p> |
