TITLE OF THE INVENTION COLOR CATHODE RAY TUBE WITH BEAN INDEXING STRIPES A color cathode ray tube, such as a color television picture tube of beam indexing type having a target structure including a screen comprising an array of different color lighting-emitting phosphor stripes and indexing means comprising a plurality of radiationemissive indexing stripes extending parallel to the phosphor stripes in which the beam indexing stripes are substantially extending beyond a hypothetical envelope curve connecting the vertical edges of the phosphor stripes so as to provide accurate color reproduction.
