<p>An auxiliary for improving the retention of flushable solids, for accelerating the dewatering of suspensions and for more rapidly working up industrial waters, effluents and sludges by the addition of a basic water-soluble polymer being produced by reacting (a) an aliphatic polyethylene glycol ether amine and (b) a basic polyamino amide to form an intermediate product and (c) reacting said intermediate with an epihalohydrin, dihaloalkane, glyoxal-bis-acrylamide, bis-acrylamidoacetic acid, acrylamidoglycolic acid or tetraalkyloxyethane.</p> |
