TV signals transmitted via a geostationary satellitic are received by a parabolic antenna at each household. The antenna is supported on a curved tube which allows it to be directed to any of a range of satellites. Radiation received from a satellite is received by a parabolic dish and reflected to an auxiliary mirror which sends the radiation to a matching head behind the dish. This head converts the microwave signals for transmission by coaxial cable. A plate on the rear of the dish is fixed to a two part bracket and is bolted to slide on a tube with vertical and arced sections. Graduations enable the position and thereby direction of reception to be adjusted when the bolts are tightened to clamp the tube.
