The installation is used for the mechanical separation of extruded parts of varying form and size. It consists of a roller with a rotatable bearing which has one or more flexible tongues positioned on its circumference.S The roller has one or more ledges. The bowl shaped sheet metal has its bearing outside the centre of gravity of the roller and is held in position by a flexible strap. One or more of the flexible tongues are either straight or inclined at their free ends. The base sheet metal is positioned either parallel to or adjustable at an angle to the axis of the roller.
