PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of uneven picture element diameter and deformed picture by a method wherein in a charge deflection-type ink jet recording device the ink jet particles and back polarity charge are periodically given to the recording paper carrier means. CONSTITUTION:Through a charge electrode 3 and deflection electrodes 4a, 4b the ink jet particles are made to flee from an ink jet head 2 to coat the recording paper 7 for recording, which is carried by an insulated drum 8 (a recording paper carrying means formed by providing dielectric 8b on a conductor 8a). The recording means mentioned above is provided with a charging charger 15 composing DC power source 12, charge control circuit 13, aperture board and such and with a decharger 17 having an AC power source 16 and through said charging charger 1 the ink jet particles and back polarity charge are periodically performed on the insulator drum 8. Consequently, the impact speed of ink jet particles against the recording paper becomes about even, and moreover the recording paper is firmly clamped by the insulator drum to form a good quality picture. |
