A safety hook, especially for use in excavators, backhoes, wheel-mounted loaders, etc., for the lifting and transport of objects is proposed. This hook has the general form of a three-dimensional eyelet 1, different successive parts of which run in mutually angled planes and in which a spring-loaded locking element 2 normally constitutes a part belonging to the eyelet shape and is movable G between two positions, the normal position, in which it holds the eyelet or the hook closed, and a position in which it holds the same open for coupling and uncoupling purposes. According to the invention, the locking element 2, in its normal position which closes the eyelet or the hook, will constitute an eyelet part which bridges the distance between the free ends 6, 7 of two self-supporting eyelet parts 5, 7 located in different planes. <IMAGE> |
