Vacuum cleaner fan for hand tool waste exhaust - has additional opening ensuring adequate cooling of motor

In the fan for the vacuum cleaner the suction air is drawn through bores having a small diameter. In order to increase the amount of suction air, auxiliary air openings are provided. To prevent these openings from clogging a further auxiliary air opening (21) is provided, facing the fan casing (1) which houses the motor. This opening is pref. an oblong bore through a fan shaft (9) so that now even with a low air input sufficient cooling of the motor parts is ensured.
