Particular rollers, preferably distributor rollers (5), downstream of which a further distribution point is arranged, are fitted with vibration generators (18, 19, 20) in the form of vibrators or sources of ultrasound which are arranged in the axial direction of the rollers (e.g. 5). Owing to the vibrations generated in the vibrators (18, 19, 20), the ink film on the respective roller (5) is deformed or broken up, as a result of which the occurrence of ink-water emulsification nests is effectively prevented and the subsequent distribution of the ink film is favourably influenced. <IMAGE>
