<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the hazards leading to an accident for the suject vehicle by a method wherein the vehicle can be driven only at a speed less than the maximum allowable speed by giving a signal for the maximum allowable speed used on a curved road. CONSTITUTION:A limiting circuit LA1 is formed in such way that an output signal in excess of a limiting input SL cannot be outputted. And when a speed command SV is lower than the limiting input SL, a speed command itself is inputted to a comparator OP1, and when it is higher than the limiting input SL, the speed command is limited by the limiting input SL. Therefore, by converting the signal of the limiting input SL to the maximum allowable speed signal, the vehicle cannot be driven at a speed in excess of the maximum allowable speed even when a signal exceeding the maximum allowable speed is given by a manual or an automatic operation.</p> |
