Tetrahydropyridinyl indoles of formula (I) and their salts are new. X is pentyl, 2-phenyl ethyl, butyl, or 2-propenyl. Parent patent covers the compounds of formula (I) in general terms, but does not specifically describe them. Used for the treatment of psychic and behavioral disorders, and also nausea and vomiting.
