<p>The locking knob, for hair curlers, has a round gripping part (4) attached to a shallow square base (6) by a necked part (7). The grip is pear shaped, the neck is cylindrical, and the base slopes underneath, coming to an obtuse angled point. The base is inserted, while hot, into the remainder of the handle to be embedded in it, while plastic. The neck and square base incorporate a deep rectangular section groove, projecting inwards each side, leaving a narrow bridging portion (10) at the centre. The two grooves are on a diagonal of the square.</p> |
