PURPOSE:To obtains the stepping motor driving circuit in an electronic time piece which does not cause any erroneous operation due to a counterelectromotive voltage by causing the counterelectromotive voltage generated by damped oscillation at the time of finishing the supply of an inverting curnent to flow in a short circuit. CONSTITUTION:Transistors 10 and 9 are turned on between time points t1-t2, and a voltage to be flowed to a stepping motor 12 in the left direction in the drawing is applied to the stepping motor 12, and transistors 8 and 11 are turned on between the time point t3-t4 and a voltage to be flowed in the right direction in the drawing is applied to the stepping motor 12. Between the time points t2-t3, the frequency dividing outputs A (a) and B (b) are low levels, the output of the NOR circuit 15 becomes high level and the transistors 13 and 14 are turned on. When the transistors 13 and 14 are not existing, the inversion voltage (c) generated between the time points t2 and t4 is absorbed (d) by a current flowing through the short circuit formed by any of the transistors 13 and 14. |
