<p>The carrier arm is attached to a horizontal swivel shaft, transversely mounted in an undivided gearcase, with a hole engaged by a radial cutout between the two shaft bearings, and connected inside the shaft via a pair of bevel-gear wheels, on a roller cutter machine (working in a mine). The drive shaft's (7) bearing (17) adjacent to the bevel-gear wheel (8) is held by a socket (26) enclosing the shaft, extending to a case opening (34), and axially adjustable through its thread section (29). It is axially displaceable across the socket through the opening.</p> |
