PURPOSE:To find the right focusing position of a target and correct the distortion of synthetic images by observing the same target from two directions different from each other with the synthetic aperture radar and using two synthetic images obtained as the result. CONSTITUTION:An image synthesizing signal processing device 10 processes data obtained by observing the same target from two directions different from each other with the synthetic aperture radar per each observation and synthesizes the images. The synthesized images are transferred to a memory device 11, and as the result, two synthetic images of the same target from different observation directions are stored in the memory device 11. These two synthetic images are compared by a synthetic image distortion detecting device 12 and the detection of image distortion such as the identification of deviated targets, detection of deviated direction and deviated amount, etc., is executed. An image reproducing device 13 reproduces images from these image distortion data and synthetic image data in the memory device 11 and corrects distortion. |
