PURPOSE:To enable the control of output voltage in high accuracy by a method wherein a pulse row with fixed ON width is formed on the basis of oscillation frequency, and currents fed to a transistor group are chopper-controlled on the basis of the pulse row. CONSTITUTION:An inverter is provided with a transistor group 4 for switching for switching-conducting load 11, an oscillator 1 varying oscillation frequency, drive signal forming sections 2, 3 successively driving the transistors group 4 on the basis of the oscillation frequency of the oscillator 1, and a monostable multivibrator 8 forming a pulse row with fixed ON width similarly on the basis of the oscillation frequency, and currents fed to the transistor group 4 are chopper-controlled on the basis of the pulse row. Thus, since the oscillation frequency of the monostable multivibrator 8 changes equally by altering the oscillation frequency by operating the oscillator 1, a F-V converting characteristic changing approximately rectilinear in proportional to the quantity of the change of the oscillation frequency of the oscillator 1 can be obtained in the output voltage of the inverter. |
