PURPOSE:To obtain a circuit free from malfunction by a method wherein a diode is inserted in between the first and second complementary MOS inverters constituting a power source and voltage change detecting circuit to utilize the forward voltage of the diode indicating an approximately constant value against the change of the power source and voltage. CONSTITUTION:The first complementary MOS inverter 10 used to apply a sample signal a for detecting the change of the power source and voltage is constituted of P and N channel MOS transistors 8 and 9, while the second complementary MOS inverter 11 used to receive the output of the inverter 10 is also constituted of P and N channel MOS elements as the case of the inverter 10. In this construction, with an diode 12 used to connect a cathode electrode to the power source on its low potential side Vss and connect an anode electrode to the output of the inverter 10, the output of the inverter 11 is applied to a memory circuit 14 via a gate circuit 13 utilizing the forward voltage drop of the diode. By so doing, an externally equipped resistor is made unnecessary, while the circuit is simplified. |
