PURPOSE:To enable the running section of a working machine to follow up the space between field ridges, between which the machine moves, and dispense with right and left piecemeal turning operation in running for working, by dispensing with an intermediate rotary wheel. CONSTITUTION:A drive wheel 6, which is driven by a prime mover 3, and an idle wheel 9 are provided on the body 1 of a working machine which has a bed 2 and is used to control orchading and horticulature. An endless rubber crawler 11 is engaged with the drive wheel 6 and the idle wheel 9. No rotary wheels are provided on the tread side 11a of the endless rubber crawler 11, which is rotated by the front and the rear wheels only. The length of the ground contact spection of the crawler 11 is set two to four times more than the distance between ruts. Since there are no straight motion keeping members such as intermediate wheels, the working machine is automatically moved forth because of side pressure applied from field ridges to the body 1 of the machine and right and left turning operation is not needed. |
