PURPOSE:To perform multifunctional multidisplay in a small area, by using a two- layer liquid crystal and by providing plural digit parts in a part of said crystal to make mode display, city position display, and so on possible. CONSTITUTION:The upper cell of the two-layer liquid crystal is provided with digit 1 for data, month, 1/100 seconds display, the timer, 1/100 seconds marks 2 and 3, and so on and forms the time display pattern used for alarm and pace maker and is provided with band-form segment 13. By this segment 13, mode switching for world time WT, dual time DT, stop watch STW, timer TM... and city names indicated on the world map are displayed. Meanwhile, the lower cell of the two- layer liquid crystal is provided with data, memorandum, and month marks 20-22, digits 23-26 for display of calendar numbers and a specific state, and so on and displays the full calendar of the year. When displays dependent upon upper and lower cells are combined by switches S2 and S3 and the stem, multifunction multidisplay is possible in a small area. |
