PURPOSE:To make it possible to utilize a circuit for a large-scale network that can cope with the extension of a circuit, etc., by adding a circuit, such as a computer, that controls the circuit of both basic-mode and high-level transmission control procedures to a communication circuit reception control part. CONSTITUTION:Transmission control procedure deciding circuit 2 decides which transmission control procedure is followed for the communication of the circuit informed of the reception of data and informs data buffer supplying circuit 4 of the result. On the basis of the information from circuit 2, circuit 4 supplied data buffer 9 in case of the basic-mode transmission control procedure or data buffers 10 and 11 in case of the high-level transmission control procedure. According to both the transmission control procedures, parity check sequence BCC is obtained by complement circuit 7. Consequently, the controller can be utilized for the large-scale network that can cope with the extension of a circuit by adding the circuit, such as a computer controlling the circuit of both the basic-mode and high-level transmission control procedures, to the communication circuit reception control part. |
