PREPARATION OF DECORATIVE BOARD

PURPOSE:To prepare the decorative board having a hardly damaged surface and being excellent in natural feeling by a method wherein a prepreg impregnated with a specific amount of an amino resin is laminated to a base plate layer comprising stacked veneers and this laminated layers are integrated by pressurizing and heating. CONSTITUTION:The prepreg obtained by impregnating the amino resin into an overlay paper with a basis wt. of 10-25g/m<2> in an amount of 70-90wt% and drying the same is used. Onto the base plate layer 1 comprising the prepreg such as a phenolic resin impregnated kraft paper, the veneer 2 comprising a natural wood are stacked and above described overlay paper prepreg 3 is placed thereon, thereafter the obtained structure is interposed between metal plates 6, 6 for a metal mold and laminated by heating under pressure to obtain the decorative board.
