PURPOSE:To obtain a fluorescent lamp of good characteritistic having low resistance and constant starting voltage, by maintaining a transparent bulb in specific temperature while blowing a film material into the bulb together with a blowing gas of temperature in specific range. CONSTITUTION:A transparent bulb is maintained at the temperature of 400-450 deg.C while a conductive film material is blown into the bulb together with a blowing gas of the temperature within 40-70% of said temperature 40-70% is preferable bacause entire resistance of the conductive film will vary when the temperature of the blowing air varies. Consequently the deterioration of film and the occurrence of spot on the bulb can be prevented while the resistance of the conductive film is reduced, resulting in a rapid start fluorescent lamp having good characteristic where the starting voltage is constant. |
