Foam filled GRP acoustic insulation component - damp lightweight particles coated with polyurethane are foamed up inside coated GRP

A component is at least partially filled with a polyurethane foam using conventional light-weight fillers whose individual particles are coated with liquid (diluted if necessary) moisture-curing one-component polyurethane; either these particles have/receive a moisture content above that of the atmosphere or water is added to the resin first, and the coated particles are cast into the mould used, where the polyurethane plus moisture foams up and cures. Simple method using low resin content, produces rigid acoustic insulation.
