The animal drinking fountain is particularly for calves, having a holding disc secured to a stationary one, particularly a wooden wall panel, also means for attachment of a hose and a teat on opposite sides. The holding disc (1) has elongated holes (7) curved about its centre, through which the heads and stems of fixing devices fit. One part (8) of each hole allows the fixing device head to pass through it, and another (9) the stem only, these being typically at opposite ends of the hole. The portion accommodating the stem only can have a recess for the head.
