PURPOSE: To simplify the operation and to shorten the processing time of an ATM(automatic teller machine) by storing the information necessary for transaction in an information storage part of a card. CONSTITUTION: A transaction medium 2 having a transaction information storage part 9 is prepared together with the ATM 1 which reads out and displays the transaction information on the medium 2 to perform a transaction based on the transaction information while making a customer confirm this information and then can rewrite the part 9 of the medium 2 after inputting the transaction information to be rewritten. In such a constitution, the transaction information can be acquired from the medium 2 via not only an on-line but also off-line ATM 1. Thus, the customer can complete his operation just by confirming the read and displayed transaction conditions. As a result, the operation is simplified and the processing time is shortened. |
