<p>PURPOSE:To increase a discharging quantity of liquid into the other brake system when one brake system is damaged by a method wherein a diameter of a head part of a floating piston, inserted into a fore part of a stepped piston, is made into an intermediate value between the diameters of the large diametral head part and the small diametral head part of the stepped piston. CONSTITUTION:When the other brake system is in a normal condition, one brake system connected to a discharging port 40 is damaged, braking is effected under a condition that a hydraulic pressure is not generated in a high pressure chamber 31, and a press-rod 17 is pressed forward, a stepped piston 10 and a floating piston 25 are advanced together and seal a liquid chamber 30 to generate a liquid pressure. However, a hydraulic pressure is not generated in the high pressure chamber 31, therefore, a stepped piston 10 is advanced and the oil is discharged into the other system by the floating piston 25 through a discharging port 43. This discharging quantity becomes larger as compared with the same to be discharged by a small diametral head part 11 because a diameter of a head part of the floating piston 25 is so designed as an intermediate value between the diameters of a large diametral head part 12 and the small diametral head part 11.</p> |
