NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I or II (wherein R is H or CH3; Q is formula III or IV; P is O, NH, S, SO2, CH2 or CH=CH). USE:A red water-soluble dye, which , when used as a water-based ink by dissolving in a mixture of water and a water-soluble organic solvent, has good dissolution stability and is excellent in water resistance, when applied to paper. PREPARATION:A compound of formula I is obtained by the diazotization of benzidinesulfonic acid, etc., followed by coupling with m-phenylenediamine, or a compound of formula II is obtained by the diazotization of 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl oxide, etc., followed by coupling with 2,4-diaminobenzenesulfonic acid. |
