PURPOSE:To control the concentration of mixed acid accurately and at a high speed by a method wherein the strength of Raman beams corresponding to the mixed constitutions is monitored by applying laser beams to a part of treatment liquid and through the comparsion of the value thus obtained with a standard value a supply valve for the treatment liquid is controlled. CONSTITUTION:A treatment tank 1 in which an article to be plated, etc. is put is filled with the treatment liquid 3 of desired constituents by the supply of acid liquid from acid pool tanks 2 in plural, while laser beams are applied to the treatment liquid within an optical measuring pipe part 6 and the Raman beams 8 emitted in accordance with each constituent are inputted in a spectroscope 9. And, the output from the spectroscope is transduced into a photosignal by a multidetector 10, the signal is introduced into an operational processing device 12 through the intermediary of a peak selector 11 and compared with the standard value stored in a memory 13, and by the signal of the difference thus found a device 4 for opening and shutting a valve is controlled. Accordingly, the high-speed and accurate automatic control can be performed and the precision in the process of treatment can be improved to a large extent. |
