PURPOSE:To improve the property of following up a sound signal while simplifying a radiating method, by suppressing a thermal loss at an electric power source part by incorporating an E class or quasi-E class switching regulator in the electric power source circuit part of an amplifier. CONSTITUTION:As a switching pulse of transistor 19 as a switching element in a resonating circuit connected to DC electric power source circuit 11, a pulse-width- modulated signal that corresponds to an input signal is applied to its base to exercise on-off control in a synchronous state. Switching regulator 12, obtained by combining transistor 19 as the switching element with the resonating circuit (composed of capacitor 20 and a primary coil 181 of transformer 18) as a load on them, turns on when a voltage applied to transistor 19 is zero. Therefore, the switching element is used with a small switching loss, the whole efficiency can be improved because of excellent transfer efficiency, so that the radiating method can be simplified. |
