<p>The clearer device (1) is used in a spinning machine for clearing draft rolls (2, 3) and is disposed below a series of juxtaposed draft rolls and includes a rotatable frame section (6) with an inclinable stand (7) and an endless clearer member or apron (4), travelling operatively in contact with the peripheral surfaces of the draft rolls (2, 3). …<??>In order to improve the clearing of the draft rolls (2, 3), the apron (4) is driven intermittently by a reciprocatingly driven shaft 95) via a unidirectional clutch and an apron driving roll covered by an antiskid coating, the tension of the apron being adjustable by means of an apron guide roll with an eccentric pivot. The clearer device (1) further comprises a combing device (8) driven by the shaft (5) via a swing arm (12) and clearing the inner and outer surface of the apron (4), the teeth of the combs preferably being inclined.</p> |
