<p>PURPOSE:A microorganism being capable of producing coenzyme Q10 is cultured under such a condition where oxygen feed sufficiency is less than 100% to increase the productivity of coezyme Q10. CONSTITUTION:When a gram-negative bacterium that can produce and accumulate coenzyme Q10 in the cells is inoculated in an enriched medium and cultured under an aerobic condition, the oxygen feed sufficiency is controlled to less than 100%, that is, the oxidation-reduction potential in the culture mixture is controlled substantially to lower than -140mV, preferably -150--250mV.</p> |
