The equipment improves heat transfer from a radiator to a room, there being near the radiator top a deflector for the hot air rising at the front towards the room. Above and below the cover plate (9) mounted in front of the radiator are profiled horizontal rails one at least of which has flanges (3,5) sloping upwards in the working position. Each rail can have one flange on the side towards the radiator, these flanges being in a common plane behind the cover plate, also a flange on the room side, extending vertically in the working position.
