Formation of zigzag coil of pipe - by attaching several equally spaced jaws and moving them simultaneously

The pipe is bent to form a zig-zag coil in the following way. Jaws are fixed at equal pitches along the length of the pipe. The curved jaws of consecutive pairs are fitted on alternate sides of the pipe. The first jaw is held stationary whilst the remaining jaws are moved simultaneously in the X and Y directions to bend the pipe in the required fashion which consists of straight portions joined by semi-circular portions. The straight portions are all of equal length and parallel to each other.
