PURPOSE:To obtain a damping force in conformity with prescribed characteristics by a method wherein the first magnet is provided in such way that it is rotated freely on a universal roller fitted to a moving member axis through a viscous fluid and the second magnet which is opposing to the first magnet is provided on the moving member. CONSTITUTION:An axis 11 is provided vertically to the longitudinal direction of a guide rail 4a on a moving member 1 which will be moved along a guide rail 4a by a prescribed driving device, a roller 13 is fitted to the axis 11 in such way that it is freely rotated and the cylindrical first magnet 14 which has been magnetized to the radial direction in such way that a different magnetic pole is alternately placed in a row to the circumferencial direction. And, as a damper, a viscous fluid such as silicone grease or the like, for instance, is filled in between the roller 13 and the first magnet 14, the opposing second magnet 17 is fixed to the moving member 1 through intermediates of the pole face of the first magnet 14 and the prescribed void, a damping force functions in proportion to the moving speed until it reaches to the prescribed moving speed of the moving member 1 and a fixed damping force is obtained above the said moving speed. |
