发明名称 FLUORESCENT SCREEN OF COLOR CATHODEERAY TUBE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the contrast of a screen by applying a pigment which eliminates the light the wave length of which is less than a specific value on the surface of copper-aluminium activated zinc sulfide phosphor to emit green light. CONSTITUTION:The green light emitting phosphor of copper-aluminium activated zinc sulfide ZnS:CuAl is dispersed in pure water, and an yellowish green pigment of cobalt yellow is adhered on the surface of the phosphor using ethylmethacrylate as an adhesive. Cobalt yellow is to eliminate the light wave length of which is less than 510nm, where oxides of Ba, Ti, or Ni, tungstic acid, titanium yellow, or zinc iron yellow may be also used for this purpose. The phosphor is combined with conventional blue phosphor of ZnS:Ag and red phosphor of Y2O2S:Eu, and a screen of color brawn tube is prepared. Thus white brightness is improved and the luminous reflectance is improved to strengthen the contrast.
