<p>PURPOSE:To purify and recover an interferon on an industrial scale, by treating the interferon induced and produced from a cell originating from a man with a polysaccharide sulfate. CONSTITUTION:An interferon induced and produced from a cell originating from a man is reacted and combined with a polysaccharide sulfate, e.g. heparin or chondroitin sulfate, specifically, and the resultant combined substance is adsorbed by a support, e.g. Sepharose or agarose, capable of combining with the polysaccharide and insolubilizing it. Alternatively, the polysaccharide sulfate is adsorbed and insolubilized on a support and reacted and combined with the interferon, which is then eluted with an aqueous solution containing an inorganic salt selectively.</p> |
