The shaped support (2), triangular at the base with a vertical extension, is bolted (16) to a wall facade (1) through a bolt hole (11), to form a continuous horizontal bracket. Transverse beams (3) are supported at the wall side by slotting into a bracket (2) and have a flat continuous top (20) providing the walkway, while the number of pieces determines the run of the balcony. The front ends of the beams are connected by the horizontal front section (4). Upstands (21) are provided at intervals to take a guard rail (22), and the whole balcony is cantilevered on the first bracket (2).
