PURPOSE:To enhance pressure fixability, chargeability, service life, etc., of the titled toner, by covering a core material containing a pressure fixable component with a cross-linked film produced by reaction between an aqueous suspension of a carboxy group-containing resin and a specified metal compound. CONSTITUTION:A core material containing a pressure fixable component is covered with an outer shell made of a cross-linked reaction product film between an aqueous suspension of a carboxy group-containing resin and a metal oxide, hydroxide, or salt. A resin containing carboxy groups in the suspension is reacted with the metal compound in forming the film, and is hardened by cross-linking to form a film superior in resistance to agglomeration and blocking, and fluidity, etc. |
