1293968 Deep-drawn containers HASSIAVERPACKUNG KARL KLEIN 18 March 1970 [20 March 1969] 13001/70 Heading B8C In a packaging container comprising a bottleshaped space 2 moulded, by deep drawing, in a brittle thermoplastic film 1 to provide a wide edge 3, to which a covering sheet 4 sealed, a portion 5 of the edge 3 is dimensioned to facilitate gripping and is provided with a continuous score line 6 which traverses a pointed extension 7 of the space 2. Indentations 9, 10 in both layers 1, 4 facilitate the breaking off of the portion 5 along the score line 6 to produce a nozzle outlet 8 for the contents in the space 2. The sheet 4 may be a thermoplastic film, or a metal foil, paper, &c., coated with a sealable film. The score line 6 can be made by conducting the sheet 4 past a scoring knife (14), Fig. 4, not shown, before it proceeds successively to deep drawing, filling, and sealing stations, not shown. |
