PURPOSE:To secure a high-efficiency separation between the Ti mineral and the Ta.Nb mineral having an approximate magnetic properties to each other in a simple process and in an industrial scale, by giving a selection by magnetic force to the core containing the both minerals after heating up them to a specified temperature in the nonoxidation atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The core containing both the Ti mineral and the Ta.Nb mineral having the approximate magnetic properties to each other is heated up to 500- 800 deg.C in the nonoxidation atmosphere. Thus the magnetic properties can be increased for the Ti mineral. After this, a selection is carried out by the magnetic force to secure an extremely high-efficiency selection for the Ta.Nb mineral which has been hitherto selected in an extremely low efficiency by the conventional method. |
